Create New Wallet
This process is currently optimized for a PC and will not work well on a mobile device. Galaxycoin does not have access to any of the addresses pairs generated.

All key pairs and keystore files are generated and encrypted locally on your machine. Click Create New Wallet button above. This will display the four tabs below.

1 Password
Choose a password for your keystore file. We do not store any passwords, if you forget your password you will not be able to spend your assets and your account will remain frozen forever!

2 Print
Scroll to the bottom and click Print Wallet. Be sure to print the page on high quality setting in landscape mode. Never save the page as a PDF file to print it later since a file is more likely to be hacked than a piece of paper. Do NOT scan the private key barcode with your phone.

3 Download
Save your encrypted KeyStore file in a safe place. We recommend a USB that is dedicated only for high security applications. You will use this file each time you want to access your wallet. The KeyStore will allow you to view your balances, sign transactions and send assets.

4 Verify
Follow the identity verification process.

Fold the paper wallet
Fold your new Paper wallet following the lines and store it in a safe place. You can insert one side inside the other to lock the wallet.

Share your public address
Use your public address to receive assets from other users. You can share your public address as much as you want.

Wait for your new wallet address to be approved is a private asset based blockchain. This means we do not allow spam and unverified users. It will take up to 48 hours before your wallet address is added to the blockchain. You must complete the account verification process in order for your address to be added to the blockchain.

  • Keep your private key paper wallet secret! The private key is literally the keys to your assets, if someone was to obtain it, they could withdraw the assets currently in your wallet, and any assets that might be deposited in that wallet. Always try spending a small amount before receiving large amounts.
